If you love everything YA fiction, you are in the right place.

Even if YA fiction isn’t your thing, have a look around. You might find something new to read!

So, what can you expect from this blog?

YA book review once a week (possibly every other week).

Posts about thought-provoking quotes from my favorite YA books.

Lists of YA books I recommend.

And I might even discuss books other than YA… you never know!

If you are interested in learning a little about me, keep reading.

You want to know about little old me? How sweet!

My parents would take me grocery shopping and I became skilled at navigating the store and all of the people with my nose in a book. Sometimes I would beg them to drop me off at the bookstore nearby while they shopped so I would have more of a selection to pick from then the big box grocery store had to offer.

My love of books continued through high-school and college. I would finish at least a book a day. Completing my homework just so I could read for the rest of class was a common occurrence.

Now, I am almost the big bad 30, and to this day, my love for reading hasn’t wavered. YA fiction has always been my favorite to read. Some people may think that us adults could never relate to a teenager protagonist or the themes that are presented in these novels.

Let me enlighten you.

Yes, the protagonists are teenagers in YA fiction. However, they deal with many real life issues, emotions, and expectations that us adults experience throughout our lives.

Even if you are reading about something that you no longer have to deal with as an adult, you can tap back into your younger self and think how you would feel. Us adults would get much further in life if we re-connected with the person we were ‘back in the day’.

Anyways, I could go on forever. Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me. Check out my blog and see if any of the books I discuss speak to you. Happy reading!
